Here are our current rules (please not that some might be added/modified if need arises):
- Respect the Free Company members.*
- Respect the others in general.
- Always use English as the language of communication on the Free Company/linkshell chat and Discord (might be a good idea to do so with other players not in the Free Company).
- When you register on the website, use your in-game forename and surname, this will help us identify you.
- We will not force anyone to play a role he does not like but please keep in mind, that, in some cases we might ask people to switch roles if we have a specific need. This situation is exceptional though.
- If a need arises, we might need to create several groups for events or anything else, if that happen, group leaders will be defined and they will be responsible of their own groups.
- We are currently growing and we are focusing mainly on quality over quantity.
- Respect the officers and their decisions.**
*Defining respect, sex/immature/crap talk will be tolerated to an extent in FC chat, you can speak privately about those, that kind of discussion is not well received by everyone so we took that decision to build a good community and an overall great experience for everyone hence why FC chat should be kept for serious discusssions and no one should have to filter it off because FC officers might use it for announcements. As a last note, if a member leaves, respect his decision and do not insist/encourage him or her to do so, that member can provide a reason if asked but it's his/her choice to do so. Members will receive warnings for misconduct, we will provide a reminder before applying them.
**Also if an officer asks about stopping a behavior, no matter what it is, members should stop otherwise they will go through a warning system: 1 warning will be issued, if the behavior is not corrected, a 2nd one will then be issued and as soon as we issue the 3rd warning, the member will be dismissed.
When a warning is received, the member will be put "on watch" for 3 days, the warning times will stack, for instance, if the member got 2 days left on his first warning, the 3 days of the second warning will be added to that period. There will be a maximum of 10 warnings per month for members, to prevent people to act in a bad way then resume their bad behavior and start again.
We want to deliver our FC members the best experience no matter what they want to achieve; Be it PvP, PvE, Raids, Instances, Roleplay or anything else. We also working on a strong structure and several ranks for our members according to their skills, their dedication to our ever increasing group and their devotion.

For the chests: Chest 3: Materials, Chest 2: Expensive and High-Level Materials, Foods, Minions and Misc. and Chest 1: Chocobo Raising Food and Gardening Seeds/Items, Shards/Crystals and Clusters are Officers only. You can still ask Officers for materials you do not have access to.
NOTE: We are very strict with applications and applicants must follow simple rules:
Complete the application form adequately and completely.
Use the in-game Name and Surname when completing the application so it is easier for us to find who is who.
We want to keep things structured and as precise as possible. The application form takes some time to complete to make sure we got everyone's availabilities.
As of 2013-11-05, since we are still growing, we now need to form predefined groups of 8 persons to be able to attempt various end game content.
1 leader will be defined per group.
The leader will be responsible to find a name for his group to create membership and feeling of belonging.
The group of each member can be seen in the "About Us" section, with the member list/description.
A linkshell will be created for each groups by they specified leaders with the name of the group, for group only communication.
Some events will be set separately for each of our groups as well from time to time, these events will be "group only" and this will specified in the schedule/calendar.
